Invene Welcomes New VP of Engineering

Invene, a leading boutique healthcare software consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Melton to its executive team as Vice President of Engineering. This strategic addition reflects Invene's ongoing commitment to delivering transformative custom solutions in the healthcare technology sector.

Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Invene, complemented by an impressive background in engineering and consulting that spans multiple industries. In this role, he will direct Invene’s engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure the continued development of high-quality software solutions for its clients.

Alex began in aviation working with Cessna on FAA inspection, then progressed into building weapons systems for the DoD at Booz Allen. As engineering director for a startup in 2018, he helped build the company to eventual exit via acquisition for $30M. Alex then launched his own software consulting agency focusing on experiential retail tech for 5 years with key clients including Target, Nike, Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe, Meijer, and many more household brands.
